Port MeirionOne of our choristers (was it John Caponegro?) described Port Meirion as "Rock City with taste." It was a field day for "Prisoner" addicts and fans. I kept wondering when I would be accosted by Violet Bucket about a candlelight supper and hand-painted periwinkles. The gardens are right out of Jurassic Park!Several views of the village Looking down towards the waterfront, where the rather posh hotel was located The topiary followed curious rules. . . Some of the girls discovered a high gallery over the village center Look up! There were curious decorative touches everywhere. The flowers in the garden were magnificent These ferns were almost eight feet high! A very ancient tree The inscriptions on the doggie headstones were sweet but sad. One of them made Katie cry.
